FWIW, it looks like Astral Chain was developed largely under contract to Nintendo, so per Rol's suggestion, I'm going to consider it first party.

Big Ubisoft Sale until the 10th or so in Europe and America if you want to find some new deals for third party pick ups.

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

Out of curiosity, where does that leave Bayonetta 3, considering 1 and 2 are counted here?

Got these last month, but whatever.
Physical: Collection of Mana, Astral Chain
Digital: Sweet Witches, Anima: Gate of Memories - Arcane Edition, Onimusha: Warlords, Virtua Racing

Confusing.  I think unless sources start referring to it as a first party title I'll treat it the same as the first two.

Anyway, gonna close the August updates here.  Everything after will be in September.  Thread update coming probably midweek.

August:

Heave Ho

Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition
Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark

Just picked up the Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

Third party total now at 10.

Since Astral Chain isn't counting, my recent physical editions are:

Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of The New World.
Atelier LuLua: The Scion of Arland

I like the Atelier series, but with so many long games coming out, my backlog just can't justify buying the latest ones. It doesn't help that I'm one of those people who dislikes Japanese VA and prefers English, and the latest games lack that.

And speaking of backlogs, I guess I'm the first to claim Final Fantasy VIII.
