MK8 should easily win, Persona is still rather small compared to it......and PS4 users have a lot more to choose from than Switch owners

I think MK as it will be at least 500k sold. But persona should easily beat everything else out. No matter both games will sell massively for what they are imo.

People still use that arguement? And besides inst that irrelevant for the month of april anyway? I mean using that arguement i can say 15mil ps4 users vs 1mil switch users buying games right?

It's not an unreasonable point to bring up. Big PS4 releases are often the minority of sales even in their own launch week, let alone the full month. Persona being a considerably smaller IP is a far bigger factor, but competition from other titles will have an effect. More so for Persona right now than normal, given the recent influx in long Japanese titles on the PS4 that appeal to similar circles.

Installbase is also relavent, but it does work both ways (at least for now). The PS4 has a larger total body of people to sell stuff too, but the Switch's users are newer and more uniform in their tastes. A 1m installbase isnt much until a majority of them buy a game at launch, then its great.

I'd honestly be shocked if Persona won. It being no.1 would be phenomenal for the series even without MK8 :p

Edit: I should note that the above is adressing both points in a vacume. There are obviously many other variables that can influence them too (stock, marketing, etc).
