I am able to answer this via a Google search!

According to Wikia, the 360 supported 478 OG Xbox games. That emulation was crap compared to X1 BC. Many games had glitches, slowdown, and crashed. It was certainly better than no BC though and I used it complete a few games.

So 360's BC ended with support for more titles than X1 BC currently has. But X1 BC is just about a year old, by next year X1 BC could fly past 500.

Lost Odyssey has no reason to be as good as it is. Almost a decade old and it looks great and plays better. I'm pleased. So much for replaying Gears this week.

The Unreal Engine has certainly aged well in retrospect.

It looks and plays better than the original. :)

Just wish they would give Reach and Halo Wars the same treatment!
And bringing over Spartan Strike would be good too... The only Halo game never to be on an Xbox console.

We need original Xbox compatability! I would prefer to keep my Original Xbox in it's box. Haha

I say it's a crime because Halo 3 is one of the biggest 360 games and it's first party. Not having it on there is just, weird. Maybe they wanted to boost MCC sales? I really don't know but someone needs to address it because, like you said, the MCC version pales in comparison because it's just a snippet of the retail 360 version. 

On a related note, I wish MCC would have featured each game in it's entirety. I didn't like how they sort of chopped them up.

It looks and plays better than the original. :)

I don't know how you can say that when they chopped the game up and didn't include all the playlists etc.

Well if we're talking about actual content, MCC has virtually everything from the original 360 releases. Campaigns, maps, modes, etc.

But I do wish they offered the same playlists found in the 360 versions.

Just posting to say that Lost Odyssey has one of the greatest videogame soundtracks I've ever had the pleasure of listening to.

What I meant was, when you click on Halo 3, it should just boot up into Halo 3 as if it WAS Halo 3. They should have done that instead imo.

I hear what you're saying, it would be arguably better if they felt more like straight ports with improved graphics.
