Try to get a deal they once failed to do with Sony, which resulted in Sony taking their own dominance over them.

Nintendo developing games for Sony devices should be good for both, Sony has a way broader appeal and would provide Nintendo better hardware to work with and more people to buy Nintendo games, and Sony would have more games as some huge known IPs to make more people buy their platforms.

tl;dr; Sonyntendo.

^This, I would die in peace if I can get a system where the Console was powerful like Sony's and game as good as Nintendo's

Beg Square to release Dem Final Fantasy GBA games on the VC. Afterwards quit and let somebody else crash and burn.

I would try putting out a console that did in fact compete directly with Sony and Microsoft just to see what would happen.  Aint Never been done before. Even the gamecube was lacking DVD playback and smaller storage size.

I would also bring vc to Xbox One and PS4 to build up demand for Nintendo's system to play current Nintendo games.

Outside of the usual NX stuff ...

- I'd consider a partnership with Microsoft but only if had primary control and MS could not buy out Nintendo at any point.

- I'd buy the game rights to the James Bond franchise. If that didn't work then I'd look at Mission: Impossible or a bigger scale one with Marvel/Disney for Marvel properties.

- I'd set up a deal with EA that lets them make Mario FIFA and Mario NBA and/or NFL titles. Also allows for Sim City (SNES) on the eShop and maybe a new Sim City title for NX.

- I'd tell the design team working on the NX to incorporate some retro-NES/Famicom stylings into its design. 80s/90s retro is in, capitalize on it.

- Splatoon 2 and Zelda for NX launch, Super Mario NX soon after.

- I'd let Square-Enix make a Final Fantasy-Dragon Quest-Nintendo mega cross-over RPG.

I have a list, hold on:

1: NX will feature FULL BC for Wii and Wii U.
2: All VC titles from all platforms will be available on NX and will not require additional purchases.
3: The NX controller will sport a smaller screen (3.5") than the Wii U and will be more controller-shaped. This will allow future games to feel more like games, but allow BC with Wii U. It will also come in screen and screen-less varieties. NX will also support up to four screened controllers and up to eight controllers total.
5: NX will have GC controller ports. Also release a new Wavebird and rename the GC controller "Smash Pad".
6: New Metroid, Zelda, Fire Emblem, Mario, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Earthbound/Mother titles. No less than three of these for launch.
7: Release Super Smash Bros 4 for NX, including all available DLC at time of release.
8: Release a Disney Infinity-styled game that uses all Amiibos.
9: Make Amiibos usable through packaging.
10: ???
11: PROFIT

I'd make a true sequel to Super Mario RPG, even if it bankrupts the company. Mark my words.

I'd change NOA's brand approach from over-emphasizing a kid friendly/childish image and try to paint Nintendo as a brand for everyone; kids, teens, adults and families by emphasizing gameplay and fun rather than trying to appeal specifically to younger age demographics by talking down to the audience.

I'd take the NST branch from out of the doghouse and try to rehabilitate it into an actual studio making actual games again instead of its current image as the 'Mario vs. Donkey Kong' studio.

I'd sign Platinum into an exclusive 2nd party contract and have them work on new IPs, 2nd tier Nintendo franchises and other franchises that have been long dormant.

I'd continue rehabilitating Nintendo's relationships with Japanese 3rd parties and salvage what I can with western 3rd parties without having them walk all over Nintendo

Lastly, I'd try to buy Capcom and rebrand it as the company's development branch that emphasized titles for teens and adults (kind of like what DC Comics does with its Vertigo imprint). If that can't happen, I'd start a new large development branch within Nintendo that served that same purpose.

Yeah I think it's time for rebrand especially in the US.

I would stop marketing specifically towards kids. It's not working and it poisons the well for being taken seriously as a wider brand.

What I would embrace would be two things.

1.) Retro appeal. 80s/90s retro is hot right now. Chicago Bulls gear, old school sneakers, Jurassic Park (World), Star Wars, etc. are all cashing in on retro culture .... Nintendo should too. Splatoon could tap into this too. I'd have a lot of call backs to the NES and SNES eras in particular not only with software but even the look of the hardware.

2.) I'd embrace Nintendo's Japanese roots and make wacky/crazy Japanese style ads, but with a wink to the audience that this is just in good fun. I'd paint MS/Sony as the "serious" brands and try to move Nintendo as being known more for not being so damn serious.

I might look into buying some retro IP from other companies too. Bomberman, Super C, Castlevania, Double Dragon, maybe stuff like that too.

Create 3 mid-sized studios on the west. 2 of them would develop new western-like-but-with-Nintendo-charisma IPs and the other one would work on reviving IPs that are not so important anymore, like F-Zero; since it would be a mid-sized studio, their games would have a regular budget so if the revived IP failed they wouldn't have big losses.

I think Nintendo needs more diversity. Look at Splatoon, that's a bright start.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Start to fix the Wii U. Drop the price. License, create, and commission more games and features. Make good to the people who bought one of those before even trying to sell a new product.

I can't imagine the PS4 would be as successful as it is if the last years of the PS3 weren't such a fix for the early disatrous ones
