The rumor is probably just a rumor. Well, for the most part. Should it be true, I hope it's a game for more than one system. They would look dumb otherwise.

It was Britain, it is America, tomorrow France and next year, the world...

Warning: This poster has a very negative opinion of Sony and Nintendo, Idea Factory and companies Tecmo Koei, EA, BioWare, Blizzard, Treyarch, Infinity Ward, Kadokawa and Sega. If you have very positive views of these and a negative view of Microsoft or Bethesda Game Studios, AVOID ENGAGEMENT AT ALL COSTS!

I really enjoy Crackdown 3 so far, but the driving is awful!

I second this. Most of the gameplay is surprisingly well polished but the driving.. ugh. These challenges are a pain in the ass.

Overall it's a bit repetitive too but fun to play. I like it that weapons are different enough and there's variety in enemies.

On the other hand, Wrecking Zone is awful and maybe the most useless mp I've played.

So far a solid 7/10 game I'd say. Should be sold for 39,99€ though.

    New Poll!

I tried to keep the main options realistic ones, some are based on rumours (IO Interactive, Turtle Rock, Typhoon Studios), some are based on educated guesses around previous rumours (Bluepoint Games, Asobo Studios), some based on previous acquisition attempts (Moon Studios) and they all fit into what Microsoft is looking for in terms of studio size, nothing too crazy like that Platinum rumours.

I only included 4A Games because I needed to pad the poll out a little and because it seems to always be a more realistic fan favourite option on people's lists around places like Era, I still have one space left but I don't know what to fill it with, maybe Studio MDHR? There's so many small-mid sized studios to pick from that are possibilities.

For 'Open a Studio' that'll be a case like The Initiative, If you'd like you can post the genre/location of the studio, I know some of you would love a Japanese studio, I don't think it's really realistic that they'd buy one, I don't really think it's realistic that they'll open one either but I do think it's more realistic than buying one so I gave the option to pick, can be a Western studio, Eastern Studio, etc.

My list: 4A Games > Moon Studios > Open a Studio > Bluepoint Studios > IO Interactive > Asobo Studios > Turtle Rock > Typhoon Studios.

Honestly I'd be happy with any of them options though Tbh, some are better than others but I wouldn't say any of them would be a bad purchase.

As long as io-interactive get to:
    -keep making Hitman
    -release their games on Steam

I don't mind them being acquired. I don't see either happening, however. So I'm going to go with Moon. They actually make the most sense anyways.

Voted other. My picks would be WayForward(Shantae, Mummy Demastered) and Night School Studio(Oxenfree).

Damn one studio I forgot, Hazelight, I'd love them too but I don't think there's any rumours around them.

I voted Other. Obviously my Dream would be PlatinumGames &/or FromSoft but those are pipe dreams.

I would rather they go after Remedy because they have two teams now, but i honestly doubt that MS go after another AAA dev. They have only acquired 3 and one was basically a 2nd party already.

Of the studios on the List I actually hope that they don’t go after Turtle Rock and it looks like Typhoon has passed them by already.

4A and IOI would be really great but I doubt that it happens, Asobo would be a neat pickup and Bluepoint would have potential but not move the needle for me.

Moon would be a solid pickup but we know that they want to stay independent.

My list of AA devs that MS should go after are (random order not ranking)
