Forums - Gaming Discussion - Anyone want Star Fox back?

Star Fox and Star Fox 64 remain amongst the list of best Space Shooters in the entire world. Star Fox Adventures, Star Fox Assault, and Star Fox Command were nothing compared to Star Fox and Star Fox 64. Why did the franchise turn sour? I don't know.

Who wants Star Fox back? The old-school Star Fox! Not the new-school Star Fox.

Yes. I had my hopes up with SFCommand, but I was disappointed.

By life end:

  • Wii- 100 million+
  • Xbox360- 35~40 million
  • PS3- 30 million
  • PSP- 30~32 million ------------- FAILURE
  • NDS- 85~90 million (Skeptical)  - FAILURE
  • NDS- 100 million+ (Optimistic) -- Success!

I enjoyed SF Assault, though it wasnt much different from N64 IMO. SF Adventure was a game made for the N64, moved to the GC with graphics boost, and changed all of the characters for those in the SF universe. It was an Ok game, but not a real SF game IMO.

Starfox on Wii would be great.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

I was back to playing Starfox on the DS this morning (after completing all my other DS titles). It was quite enjoyable (although *very* much a hard-core title - rather than a casual game) - and had me hankering for a Wii version of SF :)

I didn't like Star Fox Command. The entire set up was not fun. I want to fly through a path, not be enclosed in a box. Star Fox Assault was kind of all over the place. Star Fox Adventures was a Zelda rip-off, and not as good.
