There are different ways to turn on a Wii Video Game Console.

1.  First Way:  There are several buttons on the front side of your Wii Console (the side that you put your game disks in).  The top button (assuming your Wii is in an upright position) is usually always red.  Gently push that button and your Wii will turn on.

2.  There is a small button with a circle on it on your Wii-mote (it is the button that is near the directional pad or "D-pad")  Push this button and hold for a couple of seconds and your Wii will turn on. 

*If neither of these two methods work your Wii may not be connected properly, or you are just not pushing the right buttons.

Preferably real so that once your Wii is turned on you both can enjoy playing with it.

If picture or video, then you will be playing a solo game.
