I think PS2 is actually more likely to be 2nd place than PS3 if Matt is talking about consoles.  PS2 outsold PS3 in November and December (especially in December).

Hmm... if PS3 is in second, I WILL crap myself. Maybe my bet may come true?

So we shouldn't trust NPD, we should trust the companies who only report sold to retailers? I mean, how many XBOX arcades, or PS3 40 gigs are sitting on shelves now? You can't accurately reflect sales based on the companies sold to retailers, NPD is the best source we have for american numbers.
