Forums - Gaming Discussion - Fracture Literally Changes The Playing Field For Xbox 360/PS3

" Well, to explain exactly what makes Fracture so next-gen, you have to understand that first and foremost that it’s a third-person shooter set in the future. Next, you have to take into account that every aspect of the environment can be physically distorted. That’s right, it doesn’t simply get destroyed, it can be distorted."

Includes a really nice trailer.

Old news. But this is the biggest thing I have been waiting for in games for a very long time. That old mars game that you should shoot the earth and chew holes into it is very similar to what I wanted, however it didnt really deform the world, it was more like destructable objects... that look like land.

I cant wait to get my fingers on this one.

This game looks promising. But will it play well, terrain deforming aside? And I'm always worried the deforming will be disappointing, like it feels too scripted after a while or something. We'll see, I'm certainly looking forward to it.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
