Its UbiSoft.. they suck ars this gen. Even their games for the 360 are worse then EA's. I wouldnt be surprised if Ubi becomes Microsoft's second party dev.

Why does everyone assume the devs were talking about graphics? Maybe the game is going to have some heavy online element that the PS3 isn't capable of... maybe they're going to take advantage of that keyboard attachment... you never know. Why's everyone assume they know so much about how the hardware works, anyway? "Better." Such a funny word. Even a small island nation is going to have a comparative advantage against the United States with *some* good, unless everything is directly proportional.

im just proud that sony fans and microsoft fans on this site are not buying into the fact that splinter cell 5 is not achievable on the ps3.... this game was bought off buy microsoft awhile ago... so of course they would say that.... its not like the sales of this series has ever wowed anyone anyway

 1. PS3 is capable of everything Live does online.

2. The PS3 has a keyboard attachment coming out too.

3. Its not hardware thats the problem its the devs themselves.

 A) The word "Maybe" implies a hypothetical.  That is, what I'm saying isn't being posed as absolute truth, but merely a possible explanation.

B) Everyone knows Microsoft has a better organized online service.  It's like saying "MS Paint is capable of everything Photoshop does."  Well, yeah, but it's a hell of a lot harder on MS Paint.

C)  Every PS3 keyboard I've seen is 3rd party.  A first party peripheral means it will be much more heavily supported.  Unless you can link me to something that talks about a first party PS3 keyboard, that point is moot.

D) See above MS Paint/Photoshop example in regards to (3).  "It isn't MS Paint that's the problem.  It's the lazy ass artists."

First of all the comment is more about marketing and PR then anything else:

1. Make game exclusive to platform
2. Comment about how game is only possible on that platform
3. Fanboy war for free marketing
4. Profit

Now, I'm certain there is probably some merit to what he is saying but I also wouldn't be too surprised if it was like all software engineering projects that are for one specific platform; when you have two platforms which operate in different ways (Widows/Linux, IE/Firefox, OpenGL/DirectX) and you target one specific platform you will make design decisions throughout the entire project which would make it difficult to switch to the other platform.

 lol... that comparison sucks. I have no idea how to use MS Paint anymore.. I opened it up and was like.. how the heck do i do this.. then said screw it and opened Photoshop CS3. Photoshop  >> Paint.net >>> MS Paint
