See all the nintendogz on this site get all antsy when somewhen says something good about the ps3. Musou was a good release and really sold well considering howmany ps3 were sold but its not the individual games that matter on this list its the fact that so many on the list are ps3 games. Like wise if it were all wii games u nintendogz would be like yeah ninty owns and the sales of the wii prove it. The fact of the matter is Sony was careless with the jp launch 5 titles seriously wtf. But I wouldnt give more than the first round of this war to the wii. Basically Nintendo is a new guy in this market they have to restate their franchises and create new one (Wii Sport, Wii PLay). I am sticking to my theory that Hot shots will push the ps3 past 1 mil it will not out sell brawl too much of a base difference but it will move consoles. I mean the only holding the ps3 back is its software ( lack of) i mean u can get a ps3 for 400 bucks there. Once software is moreavailable the competition begins.

 Really, maybe you have to go into deep detail and explain it to them.  Musou isent not even a good game

No i'm not saying FF13 is the same as Gundam Musou, but you are basically validating my point that this list has far less meaning than many people are claiming.  Musou was #1, Person 3 was #2 and 3 for a long time and has only sold 100k in 2 weeks (and it's a ps2 game), Ogre Battle 3 for N64 for #1-3 on that list for 3 years, but it only sold 250k.  Like you are saying, sales history is a far, far better way of predicting what Japanese people will buy than some list by one magazine. 

 What sells systems? Must have games, this is a must have game so it's not surprising that games don't sell too much when an install base is still small.

Then by some logic of the nintendogz Brawl could be a flop?

Nobody is saying FF13 is going to flop, they are saying that the low install base, and 600$ price will mean less sales than the previous FF games. All the previous FF games were released on winning consoles with huge install bases in Japan.

 PS3 was wanted more than the Wii before launch, but has sold poorly, these lists never result in anything because they only target a small portion of the Japanese market

 Success is a subjective word, they won't get the PS3 to sustain sales beyond the Wii

 360 games seem to sell decently, in fact 360 software sales are on par with the PS3's in Japan, and it has a much smaller base
