^Yeah, saw and while at first I fell for it, the PCIe 5.0 and GDDR7 parts made it obvious that it was fake.

Now we can go back to doubting AMD that Big Navi will come anywhere near Ampere.

Take it with a punch of salt, but we've got some benchmarks from China about some of the upcoming Intel processors:

Intel Comet Lake-S (Core i7-10700, i5-10600K, i5-10500 and i5-10400) tested
https://videocardz.com/newz/intel-comet-lake-s-core-i7-10700-i5-10600k-i5-10500-and-i5-10400-tested

The i7 10700 seems to be on par with the R7 3700X and the same goes for the i5 10600 and the R5 3600X.

Was to be expected that they reach similar performance. The question is more at which power draw do they achieve that.

Let's hope that it does, and that it brings back some common sense to the pricing of both companies.

This is supposedly the power consumption chart, but it's worth keeping in mind that the Intel parts are still engineering samples:

If AMD ever releases a competitive high end GPU they will align their prices to Nvidia, rather than the other way around. Look at what happened to Samsung smartphones vs iphones.

No need to look elsewhere. AMD's RX 5x00 cards were priced very close to Nvidia's counterparts. So much that Nvidia, that knew what was going to happen, reacted launching the Super line of cards.

But with the next cards they won't have that option since both AMD and Nvidia will launch their cards too close in time for a refresh, so the idea of a bit of price gouging shouldn't be dismissed.

My biggest problem with Amd gpu is even if they release a card that's competitive, it's still hard to buy due to all the driver issues. Look at gamers nexus videos and all the issues they have had. If I am gonna buy a flagship card, I don't want it to have any issues, specially from drivers.

This Red Dead Redemption 2 mod adds more bounty missions to the game
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/this-red-dead-redemption-2-mod-adds-more-bounty-missions-to-the-game/
Red Dead Redemption 2 has been out for a while on the PC. Unfortunately, though we haven’t seen a lot of mods for it. My guess is that things will change once OpenIV adds extensive support to Rockstar’s latest open-world game. Nevertheless, today we are bringing you a brand new mod that adds four new bounty missions to the game.
In order to play these new bounty missions, you’ll have to get to one of the new bounty posters that will appear on the map. According to the modder, the posters appear in different spots from the game’s default bounty posters to prevent collisions. Once you collect a bounty, you’ll have to head for the new bounty area added to your map. Then, you’ll have to locate and hogtie your target. Once you’ve done that, you’ll have to get to the police department and drop your target in cell so that you can collect your reward.
>> The mod is available at Nexus Mods, but first you should check the article to know the necessary steps to use it.

Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord works brilliantly with voice commands
https://www.pcgamer.com/mount-and-blade-2-bannerlord-works-brilliantly-with-voice-commands/
Absent radios, Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord's troops have to listen to the roars of their loud commander when they're waiting for orders. Leaders can get stuck in, slicing up opponents and leading charges, but they can also just stand back and bark at their troops. The Screamerlord mod, which is really a pair of custom VoiceAttack profiles, lets you join in with barks of your own.
In a regular Bannerlord brawl, commanding troops means fiddling around with a lot of button combos. If you want your cavalry to charge, for instance, you need to select them with the number keys, hit F1 to bring up movement orders and then F3 to tell them to charge. Not that complicated, but in the heat of battle it's a bit of a faff. Using diegomayf's Screamerlord profile, however, makes it a doddle. All you need to do is shout "cavalry charge" and you're done.
Screamerlord uses VoiceAttack, a premium speech recognition tool that also comes with a free trial version. There are some limitations if you don't shell out, but it still works fine for Bannerlord. If you have the premium version, you'll get to use all 50 of the commands diegomayf has created, while the free version only lets you use 20. That's more than enough, though.

Thursday news, part two:

Ubisoft puts the brakes on one of Rainbow Six Siege's fast defenders, Jager
https://www.pcgamer.com/ubisoft-puts-the-brakes-on-one-of-rainbow-six-sieges-fast-defenders-jager/
Jager has been a staple in Siege since the shooter's launch at the end of 2015. The German operator is one of just seven fast defenders—characters with a three-speed, one-armor rating—which makes him a reliable peeker and flanker for players who don't want to hibernate on the objective. His gadget cancels grenades, an invaluable unique ability until Wamai arrived a few months ago. He's great.
But now Ubisoft is indicating that Jager will no longer be a member of the Three Speed Club. In changes introduced yesterday to the test server, which Ubisoft uses to vet its balancing ideas, Jager became a two-armor, two-speed operator, joining Smoke, Mute, Lesion, Oryx, and others with that rating.

Totally Reliable Delivery Service has launched, and it's free-to-keep for a week
https://www.pcgamer.com/totally-reliable-delivery-service-has-launched-and-its-free-to-keep-for-a-week/
Totally Reliable Delivery Service launched on the Epic Games Store today, and if frivolous physics madness is what you're after, it looks pretty good. Andy described it as "Goat Simulator crossed with UPS" which sounds annoying, but it only takes watching some footage (see below) to be convinced that it'd make a helluva game to boot up with friends. Imagine Just Cause, except you're making deliveries.

Here's our roundup of the best April Fools' Day jokes of 2020
https://www.pcgamer.com/april-fools-day-2020/
Every year inevitably gets around to April 1, and every year game companies large and small cook up gags to amuse their fans and confuse the poor game journos who have to figure out fact from fiction. And every year, we round up the best of them to ensure no one misses out on high-quality hijinks. The mood is a little more subdued this year than it has been in others, for reasons we don't need to get into here, but there's still some fun happening out there, so we're gathering it all together.

A Rogue Legacy 2 announcement seems imminent
https://www.pcgamer.com/a-rogue-legacy-2-announcement-seems-imminent/
When Rogue Legacy first released in 2013, the world wasn't quite as awash in roguelite platformers as it is now. I reinstalled it a few months ago, and can gladly confirm that it wasn't novelty that carried it to success back then: it's a genuinely fun take on the formula, and the randomised character loadouts still manage to surprise and amuse.

A brand new Commandos game is in development
https://www.pcgamer.com/a-brand-new-commandos-game-is-in-development/
Back in 2018, Tropico publisher Kalypso Media announced it was resurrecting Commandos, the sneaky real-time tactics series. It started with a remaster of Commandos 2, which arrived in January, but Kalypso also promised new games. Now it's following through, announcing that Claymore Game Studios, one of the publisher's internal developers, has started work on the next Commandos.
>> I hope it's more like the first two and less like the third one but, considering that they decided to remaster the second one, that may be the direction they'll take.

Massively multiplayer RTS Starborne has entered open beta

Well AMD still seems to have some of the worst drivers compared to Nvidia.

As an example with their last "flagship" which was the Vega VII, it had quite a lot of driver problems:

(Skip to 10 minutes where he starts talking about Vega VII)

5000 series drivers isn't exactly much cleaner either...
