At least the series's sales are clearly going down, next decade won't look anything like this anymore.

The series is declining, yes, but with the launch of the new consoles, I expect it to regain some momentum, even if it's only for a couple years.

After all, they suffered from the launch and massive success of Fortnite, but this game is already losing steam too.

I got RAM working at proper speeds enabling the proper profile instead of auto settings. The chipset fan is driving me nuts on the other hand - 3000+ rpm at all times. It might have been a bad idea mounting the GPU right on top of it after all :P will move it to the other PCI-e slot when I have some time.

Yeah, it's my biggest problem with the X570 chip, the fan. Still, you could try to see if you can manage how it operates from the motherboard, so that it only starts to spin when it's needed.

A few days ago we informed you about a mod that was aiming to bring the combat of Sekiro to Skyrim. And today, we are happy to report that the Sekiro Combat Overhaul mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is available for download.
This mod allows you to deflect attacks (Timed block) and regain your stamina while damaging enemies Stamina. You can also stagger them if their Stamina is low enough. However, and due mainly to balance issues, bleedout and execution are no longer available.
Players can deflect melee attacks, forces, and explosions, but not direct spell hit. However, players cannot deflect if they have less than 10 Stamina.

RaizuX has released the Dark Messiah Enhanced Mod for Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. Dark Messiah Enhanced is basically a HD Texture Pack for Arkane’s title that aims to overhaul most of its textures.
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is a first-person action RPG that is powered by an enhanced version of the Source Engine and was created by Arkane Studios. Set in the Might & Magic universe, players will experience ferocious combat in a dark and immersive fantasy environment.

It's taken all of 24 hours for modders to start injecting memes into Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, the new fighting game/RPG retelling Goku's story for the nth time. Dragon Ball FighterZ had some excellent silly character swap mods, like Sonic the Hedgehog, and Kakarot's getting a similarly memey treatment. The very first mods on the dedicated KakarotMods website replace Goku with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas's CJ, and the Goose from Untitled Goose Game.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana came to PC in April 2018, but despite a multi-month delay leading up to that release it was in rough shape when it arrived. Several quick patches followed to smooth out the worst of the problems, tapering off in June of that year, and the "mostly positive" user reviews on Steam suggests that the worst of the issues have been addressed.
Today a major new update went live, courtesy of Peter "Durante" Thoman, and this one promises to go a lot farther than the others, with improvements to graphics, performance, and overall stability, plus the addition of an experimental two-player co-op mode. It sounds a little limited—there must be two or more characters in the party in order for the second player to join, spirit points are shared, the second player will not benefit from "AI cheats" like AI-controlled characters do, and there will only be limited support for troubleshooting because none of this is officially supported—but it's a way to enjoy the game with a bud that we didn't have previously.

It's a pretty hefty addition since with physics simulation at the heart of the game it's the weapons and how they're used that really make Blade and Sorcery special. There are a few purely new weapons in this—big heavy fantasy swords and the like. There are also: Volcanic explosions swords, poison swords that make enemies spasm, swords that make your blood explode out of you, swords that make you go to sleep, swords that suck out your soul, and a swords that invoke the very wrath of the gods and explode you into giblets that immediately fly in every direction. This is absolutely the kind of abuse that a fully physics-driven game with mod support demands and I am for it.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne lays out some 2020 roadmap, PC parity in April

Capcom has released a graphic with the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne update roadmap for the first half of 2020, through May, with detailed information on January through April. Notably, the PC version of Iceborne will be synchronized with the console version in April—-both versions will have the same content. The PC Game will get large angry ape Rajang and the Volcanic Region in February. In March, it will get Stygian Zinogre, Safi’jiiva, and the Tundra Region. In April, to achieve parity with consoles, it will get two unannounced variant monsters, new Arch-Tempered and Master Rank versions of existing monsters, and the Astera/Seliana Fest. Despite bugs and setbacks, it seems that Capcom is still determined to provide ongoing support for Iceborne on the same level as the console versions received. There’s also a teaser here, for a “fan-favorite” monster in May—which could literally be anything because there’s someone who stans every single monster in the series—and new monsters for June and onwards.

While fans on Steam Workshop have already hacked together scenarios as the German army, this is the first signal of the inevitable full-fledged Western Front German campaign for UoC2. The SNG.ONE website sells subscriptions, ranging from around €150 to €500 and payable only by Bitcoin of course, which allow purchasers to choose from a variety of targets. While SNG.ONE currently advertizes itself as a service for testing your own firewalls against attack, Ubiosft's suit alleges that its owners also ran r6s.support, which targeted Siege specifically, as well as listing other potential targets customers could choose from including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, FIFA 20, and Fortnite.

First mod for Dragon Ball Z Kakarot adds Ultrawide 21:9 monitor support with proper FOV

WT3WD has released the first proper mod for Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. As the title suggests, this mod removes the black bars from scenes and gameplay when using an ultrawide resolution, and fixes the FOV. As such, owners of 21:9 monitors can finally enjoy this latest DBZ game.
In order to showcase the mod in action, WT3WD released the following screenshots. As we can clearly see, the game can now run properly with ultra-wide resolutions. What’s also cool is that all the HUD icons are properly placed, and are not in the center.

Monster Hunter World Iceborne has just been released on the PC, and its first nude mod is available for download. Created by modder friccirf, this nude mod brings a high polygon female model to the game with jiggle animations for both boobs and butt.
Now some of you may remember a Nude Mod we reported earlier this month for Monster Hunter World. Unfortunately, that mod is no longer available as it’s not compatible with Iceborne. But anyway, this Female Nude Mod for Iceborne is one of the best Nude mods we’ve seen, and you can get it from here. Furthermore, modder ‘Sakura4’ released a Male Nude Mod for Iceborne. This mod replaces the layered armor Brigade, and you can get it from here.
Resident Evil 2 Remake came out in January 2019, and it took modders almost a year to release a Male Nude Mod for it. Modder ‘Loxoss’ released this mod that replaces the DLC costume “Arklay Sheriff” with “Nude Leon”. Obviously, this mod only works with Leon and not with Claire. You can get the mod from here.

I was quite taken by the idea of Pandemic Express when it was announced last year. It's a multiplayer survival game that has a group of 30 people attempting to escape a zombie apocalypse, the twist being that one of them—unbeknownst to the rest—is already infected, granting them powerful abilities, unlimited respawns, and a burning hunger for brains. The player numbers haven't been great, though (to put it mildly), and so publisher Tinybuild is taking another run at it by making the game free to play. Under the new system, players will earn "stars" by playing matches that can be spent on costumes, emojis, and in-game music. If you don't want to wait, you can opt to buy them instead.

Maxime Béland is a long-time Ubisoft employee who served as creative director on the two most recent Splinter Cell games, Conviction and Blacklist (although they're hardly recent), as well as Far Cry 4, Primal, and 5. He left Ubisoft in early 2019 to take on the role of creative director at Epic Games, but that only lasted about eights months—and according to VGC, he's now back at Ubisoft.

Some Steam users received a notification yesterday that advertised a Half-Life: Alyx event before vanishing. The notification claimed that the Half-Life Collection would be free until the launch of the VR spin-off, except there is no such thing as the Half-Life Collection, and right now all the Half-Life games have prices.
While there are no bundles known as the Half-Life Collection, there's The Orange Box and the Half-Life Complete bundles, but neither of them are free. And despite the notification, which links to an error page, Valve hasn't made any announcements.

Nice, while I was looking into it for you I boosted my own ram from the 1333mhz to 1600mhz by enabling profile also. Come on DDR3! You can last another 2 years till DDR5 hits the market!

Finally overclocked my i5-4670k to 4.3ghz and upgrading my RX470 to a GTX 1070 TI, that'll hold me over for a while. My CPU has done an admirable job lasting this long and I'm hoping it'll still manage 60fps in games for a while yet until I upgrade to Ryzen.

And yeah... I'm wary of getting a motherboard with a fan too. I'm kind of obsessed with having a quiet PC.
