Civilization 6 is seriously cheap in the new Humble Strategy Bundle
https://www.pcgamer.com/civilization-6-is-seriously-cheap-in-the-new-humble-strategy-bundle/
Do you like strategy games? Then you might like the new Humble Strategy Bundle for 2019, which gets things rolling with Niche: A Genetics Survival Games, Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation (a standalone expansion, so you don't need the original to play) and Throne of Lies: The Online Game of Deceit, for $1. That's good stuff all around—but there's more.
Beat the average price to add Dungeons 3, Offworld Trading Company, and the OTC: Jupiter's Forge expansion pack to the bundle, or pay $9 and get Stellaris and Plague Inc. Evolved. Things get really interesting at the top tier: For $15, they'll throw in Civilization 6, which normally goes for $60 all on its own.
>> Besides that, on the Humble Store there's a new Paradox Sale (well, only the Cities in Motion games), with up to 75% discounts for the next 5 days: https://www.humblebundle.com/store/promo/paradox-sale/

GOG has a new midweek sale, named Jump, Dodge, Attack, with up to 90% discounts: https://www.gog.com/promo/20190313_midweek_sale

According to its official page, update KB4489899 fixes an issue that may degrade graphics and mouse performance with desktop gaming when playing certain games, such as Destiny 2, after installing KB4482887.

Microsoft brings DirectX 12 to Windows 7, World of Warcraft the first game supporting it
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/microsoft-brings-directx-12-to-windows-7-world-of-warcraft-the-first-game-supporting-it/
Now here is a pleasant surprise. Microsoft has announced that it is bringing its latest API, DirectX 12, to Windows 7. Yeap, you read that right. Windows 7 now supports DX12 and the first game that can take advantage of it is World of Warcraft.
Now while World of Warcraft can run via DX12 on Windows 7, Microsoft claims that the best DirectX 12 performance will always be on Windows 10, and that’s because Windows 10 contains a number of OS optimizations designed to make DirectX 12 run even faster.
>> They do it now that Win7 reaches the end of its support? Why bother?

Factory Town reimagines Factorio as a colourful, magical city builder
https://www.pcgamer.com/factory-town-reimagines-factorio-as-a-colourful-magical-city-builder/
Factory Town, out in Early Access today, tasks you with constructing a huge mega-factory disguised as a quaint rustic town. It's Factorio by way of Banished, says developer, Erik Asmussen, and after taking it for a spin today I've definitely noticed it hitting a lot of the same notes. And like those games, you'll probably find yourself losing hours as you tinker and tweak to maximise your burgeoning industrial powerhouse.

Apex Legends Battle Pass briefly appears on Origin, but isn't releasing today (Updated)
https://www.pcgamer.com/apex-legends-season-one-battle-pass-launch/
The long-awaited Apex Legends Battle Pass has almost arrived, signalling the start of Season 1. The rumor has been that the Battle Pass will be available today, and that's seeming pretty likely considering it briefly appeared on Origin this morning before disappearing. Seeing that the banner image is still live on Origin servers even if it's not live in the client, we can expect the Battle Pass to arrive very, very soon. Update: False alarm! Though everything pointed to today for the Apex Legends Battle Pass release, including it briefly appearing on Origin this morning, Respawn community manager Jay Frechette says on Reddit that "it's not coming out today." Details are coming "very soon," though.

World of Warcraft finally adds thicc humans and trolls who stand up straight
https://www.pcgamer.com/world-of-warcraft-finally-adds-thicc-humans-and-trolls-who-stand-up-straight/
Today is a good day in World of Warcraft because patch 8.1.5 is finally out, adding—among many things—two new Allied Races: The portly Kul Tiran humans and the good-postured Zandalari trolls. First revealed when Battle for Azeroth was announced over a year ago, it's been a long wait to play the two races that are at the core of the conflict driving Battle for Azeroth. Like all Allied Races, those who start new characters as a Kul Tiran or Zandalari and then level all the way to 110 will also earn a cool suit of armor that evokes the culture of that race.

I'm telling you, with a straight face, that this is the biggest PC gaming news of 2019: Dwarf Fortress is coming to Steam, with graphics and Workshop mod support. Dwarf Fortress is as famous for its ASCII graphics as it is for its unparalleled depth as a procedurally generated simulation of existence. And while it's always been moddable, the new Steam (and Itch.io) release, coming this year, will make an infamously complex game just a little bit easier to get into.

But I repeat, I've only found it in one place, so take it with a graint of salt.

Reach will be a paid DLC on Xbox for the campaign.

On PC, the Reach Campaign is getting rolled out first and will thus likely be included in the base game price.

I already have Fable Anniversary, Killer Instinct and Quantum break (alongside Alan Wake).

Kinda wish Forza would jump over.

Halo Wars 2 and Age of Empires: Definitive Edition could make a jump over to Steam too!

Also would like to see Spartan Strike make an appearance on Xbox, it's the only Halo game not on an Xbox console.

I read somewhere, but I haven't find it anywhere else and it's not in English, that Reach will only come with the multiplayer side, with the single player campaign being offered as a paid DLC.

But I repeat, I've only found it in one place, so take it with a graint of salt.

According to the IGN interview. (Eww. IGN)
Reach will be a paid DLC on Xbox for the campaign.

On PC, the Reach Campaign is getting rolled out first and will thus likely be included in the base game price.

I think the Xbox Game Pass subscribers will also get the campaign for free.

Please excuse my bad English.

*** ALERT FREE GAME ***

On the Humble Store they're giving away the game GRID 2 with the Bathurst and Spa-Francorchamps DLCs included: https://www.humblebundle.com/store/grid2-spa-bathurst

The deal will end in roughly 2 days and 21 hours or until the end of keys.

'sup PC doods? I need a bit of advice. Is this a good PC?

XEON E5-1620-3 .6GHz (4 core)
16GB Memory
512GB SSD
GTX1060

That's fairly old XEON, 4 cores/8 threads, from 2012, but still solid CPU.
16GB RAM is still good, as well as 512GB SSD, though, depending on requirements, you would need extra HDD for storage.

Looks somewhat like workstation rig, with solid 1080p gaming GPU.
