Taking out a margin of error of 10%, you'll have PS3 overtracked 8k, X360 overtracked 25K, Wii overtracked 47k.

The numbers in the OP have already been adjusted from NA to US.

I'm not doing Americas to US lol. That's just a standard margin of error loosely based on overall tracking accuracy. Should VGC numbers be below NPD ones I'd put in a 10% margin all the same.

PS3: Slightly overtracked
360: Noticeably overtracked
Wii: Significantly overtracked, ouch
DS: Slightly overtracked
PSP: Spot on

Proudest Platinums:
1. Gran Turismo 5
2. Persona 4 Arena
3. Wipeout HD
4. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
5. Super Street Fighter 4

Wow those sales are bad.
Again this is i think now conclusive proof that both 360 and PS3 demand is starting to get to saturation point. Both are up on last year but both in comparison to the previous year PS3 is down on sales while 360 is only barely up by like 1k.

So what is interesting about those numbers is that in USA compared to the last time PS3 price cut the numbers are down this time. Which again throws further evidence into the fre to support Sources theory that this gen peak has gone.

PS3 did 159k last year, it's not down.........

I think he's talking about 2008, but it makes no sense to single out the PS3/360 when everything is significantly down from that month.

lol, what happened to gaf?

No you misunderstood what i said. I said they are up over last years figures. But PS3 is down compared to it's 2008 figures while 360 only just beat it's 2008 numbers. 2008 was the year coming in off the back of the previous PS3 price cut. Which prooves that the price cut effect is/has started to now ware off.

you are trying way to hard.

At 486,000 copies, Conviction sold more copies than any other console game in its premiere month. We don't have the rest of the top ten at press time, but Microsoft revealed sales numbers for two additional Xbox 360 titles: Battlefield: Bad Company 2 sold 166,000 copies on the system, and Super Street Fighter IV sold 108,000.

Microsoft also announced that it sold 185,000 Xbox 360 consoles in the month, up 6% from 2009.

April 2009 was such an easy comparison for Wii.

Wii is in trouble, it's in the process of collapsing, I hope Nintendo can do enough to bring it back.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

Exactly.

And reason i didn't mention Wii is because it is so far ahead that it no longer matters what happens there. It is pretty much at 360+PS3 sales. When you sell as much as the wii has there is only one way for it's sales to go, down. But even with the numbers going down it is still selling more then both 360 and PS3. So in terms of looking at sales the only one to me of interest is the numbers between 360 and PS3. They are so close.

I dunno lol.

It's kinda funny that VGChartz has GAF's numbers up... Before GAF does

Wii, you're embarrassing me in front of the HD consoles! How can you do this to me?
