One has to wonder how long it will be before S-E gets desperate and decides one of two things:

1. They will make an X360 port with simultaneous launch
2. Sony has to throw them a boatload of money to stop #1 from happening

With the budget behind the FF games, S-E can't keep delaying this thing forever.

Wii are the champions...

Pretty sad that you're celebrating the delay of a game because it's not on your system. I'm pretty sure it was already known that FF XIII was coming in 09.

Damn. The more i hear the more likely it is this game will be ported to the 360. With SE developing the white engine for the 360 and claiming that they want to increase their revinue in north america it would only make sense for them to do that. It just boggles my mind how bad sony has dropped the ball this gen.

It is SE's fault, not Sony's that this game is being delayed

People wouldn't be "celebrating" the delay of these games as much if it wasn't for hundreds of posts that used Gran Turismo Prologue, Final Fantasy XIII, Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone 2, Grand Theft Auto 4, Lair, Heavenly Sword, Ratchet and Clank, Unreal Tournament 3, and Uncharted as the list of "Killer" PS3 games that were being released in 2007 ...

yea ckmlb, that's the way the cookie crumbles. But what games are there for the PS3 if we take out mgs4, gt5 and gta4? Those are three and i mean ONLY three games. They won't help the PS3 as much as many would like to believe. What is there to wait for beyond these games? I'm asking seriously as i don't intend to get a ps3 and have no idea what games are being awaited.

Well its not that big of a loss. FF13 would hvae been the savior in well Japan, and I don't think PS3 was ever going to take Japan at all anyways. I'm sure if they were destined to win this generation they can do without it.

I think PS3 userbase will be big enough for FFXIII when it cames out. Dont believe that Squareenix wants to port such AAA title. Sony have to pay them to make it exclusive.
