Yeah, that was always my hope for Ryse, explore different time periods with each sequel like Assassin's Creed does. 

The rumor was that Ryse 2 was supposed to be titled Knights of England so that was apparently the plan for the franchise, the gamplay would need an overhaul for it to work though seeing as it would be competing with the Open World AC games and Ghost of Tsushima.
