Most likely, no, I wouldn't. However, I do own every playstation console, and I have never been a fan of xbox, thus never buying or owning any of them, and today, for those xbox games I do want, I just hop on the microsoft store, get them, and play. I don't pay for PS+ and my PS4 collects dust. Spider-Man disinterested me, and I couldn't be bothered to finish Uncharted 4. Last of us Remastered was a pointless pack-in with my original PS4, as I played it on PS3 and completed it 4 times. Beyond: Two Souls, which I also finished on PS3 10 times, I also was able to comeplete on PS4. And I was also able to complete Detroit: Become Human, which ran so much better on my PS4 Pro that now my PS4 is never used. Also couldn't be bothered to finish Horizon, either. Alot of these games just seem like the same games that were on PS3, and the story based stuff is getting old for me, since that's all there is. These days, I'm playing overwatch, mostly, but I started playing fornite 2 weeks ago, and unlike the first time I tried it, I actually like fornite these days. Also a bit of Tekken 7 and MK11, so between those 4 games, I don't miss console gaming at all. Doing EWGF in Tekken on a keyboard is like butter. I can never do it consistently on a controller, though. I actually have issues adjusting to MK11 on keyboard, so that one, I'll still use a controller for, but Tekken feels so much better on a keyboard. Long winded answer, but I wont be getting PS5 so soon, since I'm not paying for PS+ and I'm not going to be interested in any of the games, unless they announce timed exclusivity for Tekken X Street Fighter, and it's also a launch title. But we'll see if that game actually happens or not... It's only been 8 years. |
I like your post. Mainly because you like games and not a particular company.
