I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure there's more to performance than just the fabrication process, and that you'll be able to get more from an affordable mobile SoC in 2023 than in 2021.

The issue here is no one has been able to provide any evidence of what the hell Nvidia could possible release for 2021 that would make the upgrade worth while.

They are hoping there is something top secret that will come out that will get it close to PS4 level.

This is my big concern, I don't want a pointless jump I want a significant jump. If Nintendo can surprise me somehow then cool, if not I am happy for Switch to last longer till 2024.
