For those of you who have significant others or siblings who are very interested in the game and you only have a passing interest, try setting up a house on their island (or however same Switch gameplay will work for this title). You'll enhance their gameplay dramatically and you might even start to understand what makes this game such a great seller. There's quite a lot to be desired about this game for its single player aspects, but it's really the asynchronous multiplayer where this game shines.

Unless you're a Lonely. D:

But you're totally right, and now the local multiplayer isn't strictly asynchronous, you can have two players on one Switch playing at the same time.

How does that work? Split screen? Will it seamlessly allow people to jump in and out of the game without interrupting the other person? Will I be able to use two Switches for convenience instead of just one? I'm assuming these questions don't have answers yet, but I haven't heard about this feature yet and I'm skeptical. If done right, this could be a ton of fun. (I never tried simultaneous multiplayer on the 3DS game, so I don't know if these are things they have already gotten right in the past.)
