It's only two buttons, Analog is irrelevant, you'll just use your tounge in the direction you're facing. A game having a move as L2 + Square for example isn't that complicated.

Analog is relevant because the way it's worded in the tutorial it implies that the move won't come out if the stick is on neutral, which is stupid.

We've known for over 25 years, since the first Art of Fighting, that mapping different actions for tapping/holding a button in an action game should be avoided because it's unintuitive and unresponsive. The game has to wait several frames to check if you're holding the button or not before the move begins to be executed. Mapping the first variant as L2 + Square and L2 + Triangle for the second one (no analog stick requirement) would've been a much better choice.
