I'm a bit sad because this might mean Insomniac wasn't doing too fell financially so this might have been half-forced, but at the same time, Sony is definitely the right owner for Insomniac considering the history of the two. As someone whose main platform is PC, I'm somewhat disappointed, but like I said, this is quite fitting. |
How? Spider-Man was a big success and obviously Sony is interested to contract them again for a sequel. Insomniac was in a perfect position as they could've just told Sony to look for someone else to develop Spider-Man 2 if they didn't pay the price they wanted them to pay.
