If this isn't just a rumour Scalebound  coming out on Switch in whatever guise that may be isn't a good look for MS at the very least it adds to the impression  that it was MS who failed not Platinum and if it is anything but a bomb it makes it even worse and also pretty much kills off any hope MS had of returning to the IP themselves,  so just like in most things being involved in an outcome usually bears more fruit than sitting in the outer , and like I said if you don't try you don't know.

The only ppl who would actually care are forum dwellers who will make a bigger thing out of it then it really is. Even if your scenario comes to play, it won't affect MS in any real way.

Regardless, most ppl already blame MS for Scalebound being cancelled, and we already know that Platinum had some issues working with MS on the game. So what difference does it make now? you are talking about a sentiment that already exists around the game.

MS doen't need the IP, they just need the ownership to the actual in game assets, which they do and which I doubt they will give up to anyone else.

It simply boils down to the fact that I see a successful outcome of that scenario  being of some small benefit and you don't that's fine , we can't agree on everything.
