LIke I said before , Nintendo and Platinum may have a new vision or like you stated go back to the original , it's just  playing with hypotheticals and mine has to do with MS approaching the others being their best option with the emphasis on MS that's why I ended with if you don't try you get nothing, then again my ideal would be for  a reality TV show called Who's Scalebound is it anyway. the contestants building the game each one wanted. with each week having contests like surviving a real life donkey kong level, with prizes like extra staff, development money etc and penalties like having to fit in and make it seamless, Kojima  scripting 30 min of your game without him knowing what it is about, the show would be a ratings winner and the winning game would surely be the greatest Scalebound ever at that point in time.

You ms hypothetical doesn't really make much sense though.

At least i don't see how it benefits them in any way

If this isn't just a rumour Scalebound  coming out on Switch in whatever guise that may be isn't a good look for MS at the very least it adds to the impression  that it was MS who failed not Platinum and if it is anything but a bomb it makes it even worse and also pretty much kills off any hope MS had of returning to the IP themselves,  so just like in most things being involved in an outcome usually bears more fruit than sitting in the outer , and like I said if you don't try you don't know.

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot
