I just read the DF analysis. I was so close to getting a XBox One S right before the X was announced, I'm glad I didn't. Every review now the original box comes off as the black sheep. 1536x1080, frame rate drops, screen tearing, no headlight shadows, detail paired back. And if you play co-op with someone on an X, their detail will be paired back as well to stay synched. Mid gen upgrades... The X is still overpriced here anyway.(CAD 600 bare bones)

At least they liked the HDR implementation!

Considering the vast majority of Xbox’s sold to date are not the X the performance of the base model should be the focus of reviews.

Unfortunate, but expected. Looked bad, early previews said it was underwhelming, and Microsoft can't catch a break.

The last gasp for the Xbox One and it's a whimper. Does the console have ANYTHING on the horizon aside from Ori and the Will of the Wisps (which even I can likely run on my PC)?

There’s still Gears and possibly halo infinite (if it’s cross gen). And a few smaller titles like battletoads and maybe ninja Theory next game. But this gen is almost a wrap

Yeah almost there. How would you rate this gen compared to last?
