For 1300 and up I would expect an OLED screen. But 1300 is way too much to spend on a TV. 

I disagree if like me you spend about 20% of your year watching the TV and mainly for games. I was single in 2008 and lived by myself in 2014 so paid the €800 and €1200 for the TV myself. But I'm now living with my partner and she agreed to go 50/50 on our next TV. So happy days my budget just increased!
