I really hope 3DS did better than that, those numbers aren't looking good

While I do hope the numbers are higher, I would brace for them not being much different.  Last year the 3DS had the system sellers of Smash 3DS and Pokémon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire while this fall it didn't get much outside of Tri Force Heroes and Super Mystery Dungeon.

3DS had a pretty solid fall lineup of small-medium sized games.

September 25-Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer

October 9-Chibi-Robo!:Zip Lash

October 23-The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes

November 6-Yokai Watch

November 20-Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon

But ur right, 3DS really lacked a big holiday title, 2011 had Super Mario 3D Land & Mario Kart 7, 2012 was a bit disappointing with just Paper Mario, 2013 had Pokémon X/Y & Link Between Worlds, 2014 had Smash Bros 3DS & Pokémon OR/AS.

I was actually hoping to see some really nice New 3DS deals for black Friday but most retailers just had it $20 off which isn't significant enough to convince people who weren't already going to buy it at $199. Hopefully December has some nice deals as it gets closer to Christmas, otherwise it will likely be another disappointing month.
